About Brzmi w Trzcinie
Named after a popular Polish tongue twister about a certain beetle, Brzmi w Trzcinie (lit. sounds in the reeds) is our attempt to bring coverage of new and exciting music from Poland into the English-language newsletter sphere. What we write about spans genres, styles, and aesthetics, and we might or might not care about following the industry release schedule.
About Us
Patryk Mrozek grew up in Katowice and is currently living in Portland, Oregon. He’s written in both Polish and English for online music sites including Tiny Mix Tapes, Prefix Magazine, AdHoc, and Porcys.
Łukasz Konatowicz was born and lives in Kraków (southern Poland). He’s written about music for Polish publications such as Porcys, Hiro, and Popmoderna, and hosts a weekly music radio show on Off Radio Kraków.
